یکی از مسائل مهم در بخش رایتینگ آزمون آیلتس آشنایی نسبی با موضوعات مطرح شده می باشد.
گاهی ممکن است آزمون‌دهنده تسلط قابل‌قبولی در رایتینگ داشته باشد، اما موضوع مطرح شده برای او نامفهوم باشد.
یکی از موضوعاتی که زبان آموزان ما با آن مواجه شده اند مبحث Library بوده است.

Describe a library that you visited? You should say

where the library was,
what facilities it had,
why you went there,

and explain whether you found the library useful or not.

Anwer:

Now I would like to speak about a library which I used to visit in my childhood. It was situated in my village and set up right in front of secondary school so that more pupils should use the library.

The library was quite a small with only two rooms: one was for the reception and another for storing books. As the library was so old, it couldn’t offer readers ample conveniences. There wasn’t any room to stay for reading borrowed books. Also, most materials were old and they hadn’t been updated for a couple of years. However, one could find huge collection of 1980s and 1990s publishing. Since the library had a large collection which included about 3000 books, newspapers and other supplementary papers in a variety of topics, a reader could look for any item by the catalog. In addition, an old librarian woman used to help find necessary books. Importantly, the library didn’t charge people and was completely free. 

I had a great enthusiasm for reading novels when I was a child. And at that time it was the only place I could find wonderful books. I was really keen on looking at book covers and reading novels’ synopses to see whether they were interesting enough to read. In addition, the librarian was my neighbor who was really nice to me, which motivated me to go there frequently. 

Although the books I borrowed were only novels, I reaped the benefits tremendously. The wide range of books in the library broadened my horizons and made me a voracious reader, which helped me in education in latter years of my life.
