تغييرات آزمون تافل IBT از ابتداي آگوست ٢٠١٩

طبق اطلاعیه ی سازمان ETS (سازمان برگزار کننده آزمون تافل)، از ابتدای آگوست 2019 آزمون تافل iBT دچار تغییراتی شده است. این تغییرات در آزمون تافل جدید بیشتر در جهت کم شدن تعداد سوال ها می باشد که در نتیجه منجر به کوتاه تر شدن زمان آزمون می شود. آزمون TOEFL جدید ۳۰ دقیقه کوتاه تر خواهد بود و کل زمان آن سه ساعت است. جزئیات تغییرات آزمون در ادامه توضیح داده شده است:

A Shorter Test
TOEFL iBT test time will be shortened by 30 minutes, to just 3 hours, with no changes to the overall test format or question types. In other words, it’s the same fair, reliable, preferred test, just with fewer questions in the Reading, Listening and Speaking sections. You can still finish the test in half a day with no need to return for a second day.

The Writing section will remain the same, with 2 tasks taking a total of 50 minutes. The test will still be scored on a 0–30 scale for each section, and 0–120 for the total score.
