Model Answer (receiving incorrect information):

Well, receiving false details could cause tremendous inconvenience in certain cases. Here, I’d like to talk about one such incidence I came across with and wasted my whole academic year.

When I passed out of high school, I was looking for prestigious colleges to enroll for graduation. I think that was in January 2016. I had done my research in which college to apply and also checked out their website for the application deadline. They had mentioned that the deadline to send application was until the last day of March. So I thought I had time to kill to gather the required documents and I collected documents slowly before mid of March. However, when I opened their website up to apply, it was showing deadline was February and the portal was unable to accept any application.

It turned out that they had typed errors. This misrepresentation of information had immensely affected me as other colleges also had closed their admission procedure. To matter worst, there wasn’t any other option by that time, and I ended up doing nothing for the whole year.

Anyway, I think any small mistakes could spoil someone’s life, people should be very impeccable in their work. Like me, the same situation could have happened to many others also. So any wrong information could lead to ruin someone’s life.
